Public Preview
A Public Preview of the Windows® Small Business Server 2008 is now available for download at the Microsoft TechNet Evaluation Center. Ideal candidates for the Windows® Small Business Server 2008 Public Preview are people with:
· IT Skills and comfortable with server technology · Additional hardware as the Public Preview should not be installed on production equipment. · Time to test and ability to provide quality feedback to the product team.

Ask a question to the SBS 2008 Public Newsgroup / Setup your favorite NNTP Newsgroup Reader....
·Setup your favorite NNTP Newsgroup Reader (Detailed instructions here):
·If you have already registered for other connections on MS Connect, you can simply refresh your newsgroups list and you should see the the microsoft.connect.windows.server.sbs08 and microsoft.connect.windows.server.sbs08sdk newsgroups in your reader.
·The NNTP / News Server is connectnews.microsoft.com (betanews.microsoft.com will work as well)
·If you have not setup a NNTP Newsgroup Account on MS Connect before do the following 2 things;
- Go to the following URL to setup your credentials; Set Newsgroup Password
- Go to the following URL for instructions on how to setup your reader; Configure NNTP Reader
Thanks for using our new Public Newsgroups hosted on MS Connect. We hope the registration process is acceptable. We chose to go with this new NNTP Server to help address issues with not having authentication on MSNews.Microsoft.com.
Submit & View Suggestions, Give Feedback
As a new community offering, we left the ability to submit bugs and product suggestions for SBS 2008 RTM directly from this site. All of your submissions will end up in the SBS Team’s bug and suggestion database.
· We ask that you search through the existing posts prior to making a new post, in order to avoid duplication. Search and Submit.
· You can also look at other people's bugs & ideas and vote on them by searching first.
· We also ask that you review the SBS Blog and the SBS Newsgroups to avoid posting about issues that have already been covered there.
